Basswood Honey has a candied orange flavor and a minty finish. It is dark in color. This honey comes in a 12oz plastic squeeze bottle with the original label. There is a tamper-proof seal under the cap, which needs to be removed prior to consumption. Basswood Honey is harvested in mid summer immediately after the bloom-time of the basswood tree. Because our hives were placed so close to a basswood tree, the nectar that produced this honey is mostly basswood nectar.
